Black Widow Trucks

Published on Jun 28, 2025 by JOZEF DABROWSKI

Seth Wadley CDJR is a dealership offering vehicles that may include Black Widow conversions; we are not the conversion manufacturer. A useful buying decision starts with the actual Ram, its installed package and the documents supplied with that build.

This article has been revised to remove an unverified testimonial and language that incorrectly described the dealership as the conversion company. No customer endorsement or universal performance claim is needed to evaluate the truck in front of you.

Match the conversion to the Ram

Record the VIN, model year, 1500 or heavy-duty platform, base trim and conversion identifier. Compare the listing with Black Widow's manufacturer information and the build sheet. A package described for one platform should not be assumed on another.

Ask which suspension, wheels, tires, exterior details and cabin changes are installed. Distinguish a manufacturer's package from later owner modifications. Photos can confirm visible features, but calibration, alignment and service records require their own documentation.

Consider daily use as well as appearance

Measure garage and parking clearance, evaluate entry and compare replacement-tire costs. Inspect how steps, cameras and other equipment function on the completed vehicle. Our lifted-Ram daily-driver guide gives the comparison a practical structure.

For a truck that will tow or carry equipment, use the completed vehicle's applicable ratings and instructions. A lift, larger tires or a performance component does not automatically raise payload or tow ratings. Include the weight of added equipment in the loading assessment.

Review coverage and purchase terms in writing

Obtain the base-vehicle, conversion and component coverage documents and identify who handles each type of claim. Confirm dates, mileage limits, exclusions and maintenance responsibilities. Do not substitute a generic bumper-to-bumper or lifetime-benefit slogan for the actual agreement.

Request a written price that identifies installed equipment, dealer charges, government charges and optional products. An old promotional image or an available financing program does not establish the current offer or your eligibility.

Choose the appropriate next step

For new inventory, request the complete equipment record and demonstration. For a used conversion, also review previous modifications, service history and an independent inspection. Our alignment and build-record checklist explains why documentation matters.

Does every Black Widow Ram have the same package?

No. Verify the platform, year and actual build.

Can the dealership promise a custom build or specific delivery date from this article?

No. Scope, availability, price and timing must be confirmed separately.
