DIRECT CONNECTION RAM 1500 650HP "UNLEASH THE BEAST"

Published on Oct 7, 2025 by Jessica Soltero

The DC650-listed Ram 1500 is a converted truck, not a factory engine specification that applies to every Ram 1500. Evaluate the actual vehicle, the conversion equipment and the applicable paperwork before comparing price, performance or coverage.

The inventory checked October 10, 2026 included 2026 Ram 1500 records D211030 and D211020 described as DC650 conversions. Their descriptions identify a supercharged 5.7-liter HEMI with eTorque, an eight-speed automatic and 4WD. Confirm current location, availability and equipment for the specific stock number.

What the listing says—and what it does not prove

The dealer descriptions advertise a 650-horsepower package with a Whipple supercharger, lowered suspension, 22-inch wheels and tires, a tuned exhaust and conversion-specific seating. That is the advertised package description, not a dynamometer test performed by this dealership and not output verified for every modified vehicle.

Ask for the converter's component list, calibration documentation, fuel requirements and serial or build identification. Review the Fox Factory Ram lowered-package information and the records that actually accompany the truck.

Compare the complete package with your daily use

Evaluate ground clearance, driveway approach, parking, ride and tire replacement costs. A lowered performance truck is a different choice from a lifted off-road or commercial configuration. Appearance and horsepower should not replace a discussion of how you will use the vehicle.

Check the installed suspension and tires as a matched system. Have the controls and added equipment demonstrated and ask who will service them. Do not assume every factory trim feature or every option mentioned in a combined inventory feed is installed on the converted vehicle.

Request current pricing rather than relying on an old starting price

The earlier starting-price statement has been removed. Ask for a current itemized quote that separates the vehicle, conversion, other equipment, dealer charges, government charges and any optional products. Confirm which advertised incentives apply to you and avoid counting installed equipment twice.

No APR, payment, rebate or eligibility promise is made in this article. A photograph or previous model-year advertisement is not the current purchase agreement.

Separate factory and conversion coverage

Obtain the actual warranty and coverage documents for the VIN. Identify the provider, start date, mileage limit, covered components, exclusions and claims procedure. The Fox Factory manuals and warranties library is a resource, but the paperwork applicable to the vehicle determines the terms.

Do not assume a general factory powertrain warranty or dealership lifetime-benefit statement covers every added performance component. Ask how the base vehicle, conversion and any optional service contract interact before signing.

Does the conversion increase towing or payload capacity?

No increase is established by a horsepower claim. Follow the actual vehicle's labels and manufacturer/upfitter instructions.

Are both referenced trucks guaranteed available?

No. Those were inventory observations on the review date. Confirm availability and exact specifications before travel.
