Ram and Ford Truck Shopping in Central Oklahoma

Published on Nov 7, 2025 by Sue Randles

Start with the truck and the exact showroom

Cross-shopping a Ram 1500 with a Ford F-150, or a Ram 2500 with a Ford F-250? Compare the actual model year, configuration, equipment and written quote before choosing a truck or planning a drive. Seth Wadley CDJR of Pauls Valley is the Ram and CDJR dealership at 200 Ballard Rd, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma 73075. Ford dealerships in Ada and Pauls Valley are separate showroom destinations. Use this guide to compare trucks and plan visits to the correct location.

Match the comparison to your actual job

These guides answer different questions. Use the correct year and exact vehicle specifications rather than transferring another configuration’s capacity or equipment to your shortlist.

Confirm the location before you travel

For a Ram visit, our Seth Wadley CDJR of Pauls Valley showroom is at 200 Ballard Rd. For a Ford visit, Seth Wadley Ford of Pauls Valley lists 333 N Butler Rd, Pauls Valley, OK 73075, while Seth Wadley Ford of Ada lists 1600 Lonnie Abbott Blvd, Ada, OK 74820. Confirm directions with the specific store you intend to visit.

Send the stock number or VIN and ask which location physically has the vehicle, whether it is available and when it can be ready for a test drive. A listing on a group website is not a reason to assume that every store has that vehicle on its lot.

Compare written prices and terms consistently

  1. Request the written out-the-door price. Ask for the vehicle price and all taxes, title charges, documentation fees and other charges, before financing. Identify optional products and the conditions attached to any advertised incentives.
  2. Keep the trade figures separate. Record the trade allowance and the lender’s current payoff separately. Ask how any difference affects the transaction and amount financed.
  3. Compare financing on the same basis. If financing, review APR, term, amount financed and total payments. A monthly payment alone cannot show which transaction costs less overall.
  4. Confirm the final details. Match the quote to the actual VIN, equipment and agreed products before signing. Any application and offered terms depend on lender review and the transaction.

The FTC recommends confirming stock and requesting a written total in its car-shopping guidance. Its financing and trade-in guidance explains why the trade balance and financing terms deserve separate attention.

Verify a finished conversion and plan a test drive

If a truck has a lift, larger tires, a toolbox or another conversion, ask for the finished vehicle’s loading labels, installed-equipment details and applicable conversion documentation. A custom appearance or horsepower claim does not establish a higher towing or payload rating. Ram’s towing guide explains that added upfit weight affects remaining capacity.

Before leaving home, confirm the appointment location, actual stock number, engine and cab configuration. Bring your normal passenger and cargo needs, plus trailer information if towing is part of the purchase. Ask to evaluate the actual truck rather than a different demonstration vehicle.

Questions about cross-shopping Ram and Ford

Is the CDJR store the Ford showroom in Pauls Valley?

No. Our Ram/CDJR showroom is on Ballard Rd; the Ford showroom is on N Butler Rd. Use the official store links above and confirm where the specific vehicle will be ready.

Will an online truck listing be at the store I visit?

Ask the selling store to confirm the VIN’s physical location and availability before traveling. Group listings and a shared brand name do not replace that confirmation.

Does a lower monthly payment mean a lower purchase cost?

Not necessarily. The term, down payment, trade balance, amount financed and added products can change the result. Compare the written vehicle price and full financing terms separately.

Use our inventory, financing or contact buttons to ask Seth Wadley CDJR of Pauls Valley about a specific Ram. Store-location and reference information reviewed November 7, 2026. Current stock and the terms of any individual offer must be confirmed with the selling dealership.
